Ital Creations Food Stall - Basseterre

This restaurant in St. Kitts is a hidden gem. The owners are lovely and the food is delicious. They even have a garden in the back!

This restaurant is fantastic! Everything is plant-based (they do use honey, so make sure to check with them if that is a concern). The first time we visited, we tried the peanut punch smoothie and a slice of corn cake, both of which were delicious. The following day, before our flight, we stopped in for lunch and ordered the lunch plates. The food was fresh and filling, and we especially enjoyed the herby side salad. The portions were generous. While waiting for our order, we were able to visit the small farm in the back and were greeted by their friendly dogs. The location on the card is incorrect - use TripAdvisor instead. The restaurant is actually located on the third roundabout when leaving the airport heading west.

Beloved my ital gyros, accompanied by an excellent fitness smoothie, we bought some cakes to take with us as we were too full to try them at the time. they enjoy the self-guided tour of the mini farm around the back, especially the turtle and puppy!

Instead of a traditional restaurant parking lot, we found ourselves at a unique spot that welcomed us with open arms. We ordered a veggie burger, a special sweet potato pie with yellow split pea filling, a side salad with hummus, and two refreshing green juices. As we waited for our meal, the owner encouraged us to explore their organic pick-as-you-go farm, which was full of fresh local produce and sugar cane. The farm also served as a playground for the owner's six children, complete with a tire swing, basketball court, and two friendly dogs. While my fiancé found his veggie burger a bit dry, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal, especially the fresh and exotic flavors of the salad. The owner even called us a cab and we couldn't resist buying a delicious chocolate chia seed cake before leaving. Overall, this was the best vegan dining experience we've ever had. I highly recommend including this charming spot in St. Kitts in your itinerary.
