Kennys Fish N' Chips - Bassetlaw

Iv only put one star because I have to.! What an absolute joke of a chippy this is, I went in a brought a LARGE bag of chips for £4.20! I opened the bag to what was no more than about 3 chopped up potatoes! And some bits and crispy sticks! The 3 older women on the counter just shoved her face up and said ‘that is a large!’ I also brought 2 kababs back a few weeks ago, as they was so dry I couldn’t crew it, and also tasted like perfume! Never returning again, once bitten twice shy, it won’t be a third!

We both had fish chips and peas, nice fish and chips. peas very runny, not how we like them.meals served on small tray, no plates.meals hard to keep in tray while eating. lots of other people were heard saying the same.tea not very nice,not very good value.not a lot of chips under fish.

Friendly service. Tasty fish chips! Very welcoming. Fish and chips are the best you can get in Retford with a very clean restaurant area to enjoy them in. I will keep returning!

Don't bother with this chip shop absolutely no way is it a 5 star hygiene rating cant be bothered to clean the equipment properly spent £8 and yet had a bug in my food, threw it straight away didn't want another and wont be going back either, and they even sacked one of the best workers who could clean better than the manager could which says a lot in my eyes. Food was even completely soaked in oil which is crazy so manager doesn't know how to drain the grease first before serving or even teach the employees how to.

OK but not great. S Large order and some of the boxes had no greaseproof paper in, the amount of oil that came out of the food was not good the boxes soaked it up.
