Markham Moor Truckstop - Bassetlaw

We stayed at the T'lodge next door, and walked here for breakfast. They cooked us exactly what we wanted, in the way we wanted it what more could we ask?

I decided to give Markham Moor another try since my last experience was terrible. Unfortunately, it was still awful and overpriced. Maybe the management should visit the Stockyard to learn how a carvery should be done properly. I definitely won't be returning to this place. The only positive thing about this restaurant is that there is plenty of parking available.

Urgent toilet stop due to IBS and found the toilets are locked to non eating customers. The restaurant is now cash only and the food is as poor as always. Just stodge or full English. More truck stops should visit Formula or Stockyard and see how to do it probably

The gas station and KFC don't offer tea, so if you prefer coffee or hot chocolate you'll be fine, but if not, you may end up thirsty.

I visited this restaurant about thirty years ago when I first started driving and swore I would never come back. Tonight, I decided to give it another try, but I will never eat here again. The food is even worse now than it was back then. Everything else seems fine, but the food is terrible. Now I am sitting in my car feeling sick.
