Mcdonald's Restaurants - Bassetlaw

Don't waste your money dining here. We were visiting for a special occasion but found the staff to be extremely rude and dismissive. The manager, Emily, seemed to have no interest in providing good customer service and was incredibly disrespectful. Perhaps she should try working on the other side of the counter and experiencing the way she treated my daughters and me. Save yourself the trouble and dine elsewhere.

Just for a Big Mac and quarter pounder its 82p off £10. I know everything has gone up in price. I get it, but you would expect if you've spent the best part of ten pounds for it to be at least warm and not thrown together. We questioned the price to be told we'd be better off having a meal. What so we could have cold fries too! And a fizzy drink that's flat! Not even napkins in the bag to wipe our tears. Rubbish!

Whilst waiting for my order to arrive I was appalled to see a young female working off a pair of steps spraying degreaser on the top and the front of the chip dispenser, your staff were struggling to work round her to access the chips to put them in a bag. This was seen by other customers at the time and I did make comments to the lady that served me who totally blanked me so from that I presume the manager will not be informed, this happened on the 26th Sept at approx 14.30pm. I did not eat my chips !!! I would suggest this procedure is carried out when chip dispenser is no in service.

Got to the Drive Through at 10:58 and was refused breakfast. The board was still showing breakfasts as available and the car in front of us ordered breakfast. On other occasions we have ordered food here and the order has been totally wrong. Always have to wait for food and the chips are soggy and tasteless. Would not recommend this branch. Awful service.

We arrived at the restaurant at 10:58 and were informed that breakfast was no longer being served, despite the fact that the staff had been engaged in casual conversation with the customer ahead of us. The breakfast menu was still visible and we were still within the breakfast hours, but our order was denied. This was another disappointing experience at the McDonald's in Newark. We recommend avoiding this branch if possible, as they also appear to consistently make subpar fries and frequently get orders wrong.
