Ocean Pearl - Bassetlaw

I recently went to the Ocean Pearl for a meal with a group of friends. We all had the banquet meal which has a number of courses. As the only non-meat eater in the group in some places that means I have to have a completely different meal but not in this case. I was able to have a banquet with my friends but with foods I could eat. The atmosphere was lovely, the food was prompt and hot and fresh. I have no doubt that as soon as we are all free we’ll be back.

The duck should have been shredded and was extremely dry and crunchy, the menus needed a good wipe. The service was ok but our first fizzy drinks were warm and the single cube of ice didn't last long. There was the hose from the air-conditioning unit sticking out of the front door as you entered the establishment, we'll not be calling here again. At least the cost of the food wasn't high

Very friendly staff, excellent service, excellent food and reasonably priced . Decor looking tired. Would we visit again? Definitely

I ordered delivery from this restaurant and ended up paying £20 for chips and egg-fried rice. Half of my order was incorrect and some items were missing. I had to send the other half back because it was disgusting - I suspect it may have been cooked a month before.

We were recommended this place by a friend so decided to give it a go and glad we did.it was nicely decorated for a small place and the food and service was really good.not much into Chinese food but it was a nice change..I really enjoyed the different little starters they had..
