Taqueria 95 - Bastrop County

It's one of the best taqueria around. Anytime I'm going thru Bastrop, this is a stop I plan on making to have some lunch! Very good food every time and very friendly staff!

If you like carne asada bistec steak tacos this is your spot! Tacos are decent in size, seasoned well topped with onions and cilantro. Add a squirt of lime and green hot sauce and your taste buds will be swirling with authentic Mexican flavors. After a half dozen visits this taco spot earns a great review for being so consistent!The atmosphere is nice especially for an outdoorish taco stand. Parking lot needs work but they do a great job with decor and great pictures of their menu items. Looks great!The ladies at the ordering booth can be a bit to the point so be sure to know what you want before ordering at the window. Otherwise they’re generally fairly friendly overall!Did I mention the horchata!? Perfect! Full of flavor and very refreshing! It’s not at all watery like you often find at other places. Probably the best horchata I’ve found around town! 3 steak tacos and a large horchata under $20 ain’t to bad these days! (Some other review mentioned it was expensive, hate to break it to ya man but steak and everything theses days is expensive! That’s what happens when money is printed from thin air, inflation!)There’s plenty of more good to be said here but overall this place has been very good! I look forward to eating many more tacos ? here!Thanks again!

Thank you Taqueria 95!We ordered meat ‘in bulk’ for a Birthday party-taco bar, to feed about 35 people and the order was perfect!We love the flavors and quality of the food of this taqueria.We’ll be back if we do a similar thing, for sure!

It doesn't matter if you eat there or pick up take out. The food is always correct, go here often and I'm never dissatisfied. The ladies are always sweet and patient with you, best food truck in my area for sure. Try anything and everything there is such a variety, but the quality never goes down. My personal favorite is the pastor items, it is to die for. ?Vegetarian options: They are always willing to swap any protein for a veg option.Dietary restrictions: There is corn and flour tortillas and also the ability to swap a protein out.Kid-friendliness: They have a little kids menu for the picky little ones.

First time eating here, the food was great as was the service.
