Carl's Jnr - Bateau Bay

Maybe we went to this place on a bad day.Our order took 45 minutes, and we were given every excuse under the sun.To say the food was bland, would be an understatement. Our order was slapped together and looked unappetizing. The chips were greasy and the tables were dirty.When I complained, the manager couldn't care less, however, I did get a complete refund after I made a scene.I would recommended to overlook this place and continue on to Maccas.

I read all the reviews and decided to try Carl's Jr. for the first time. We had a promo Chicken BLT and a Meat 1/2 Hawaiian and they were both great..however they didn't drip as much as I thought after reading the reviews and message on the receipt. The onion fries were awesome! When I read about the fries having skin on, I imagined them to be chunky but they are thin french fries. We both enjoyed our shakes too. Definitely better than Maccas!!

I let my teen son choose where we had lunch and he picked Carl's Junior. We ordered a famous star burger, super star, Oreo shake, Criss cut fries and onion rings. The girl at the counter was friendly. You get a number then your food is brought out to you. The food was very good. The burgers tasted a bit like those from Hungry Jacks. The onion rings were the highlight for me. My son loved his meal and thought I was great for taking him there

Accidentally found this place during our holiday nearby. Tried several variety of the burgers and loved them all. The shakes were also great. Worth a visit especially that they only have a few outlets in Australia.

We drove 2 hours from Sydney to try these burgers and they didn't disappoint at all and i can honestly say they are much better than Carl's in the US. Restaurant was clean but disappointed with staff attitude and assistance with product up selling or recommendations, waiting tome was minimal 5-8 minutes even on a busy Sunday it was very impressing. The food is excellent and fresh and servings are massive. I would highly recommended.
