What is a visit on the coast without some good fish and chips. it felt quite hungry so that between my partner and me, we shared a fishermans basket for one, extra broken fish, Calamari pages, a dozen fresh clyde river oysters, 200g fresh garnel and seafood sauce. total came about $48, which we thought was decent with the fresh seafood in there. the waiting time was quite fast, despite some people who float around. I have to say the best seafood I've had forever. I usually get a slim oil taste, but that didn't happen at all. calamari cooked for perfection! practically melt in my mouth. two thumbs down for bad customer service.
Possibly two of the rude ladies that serve me, I have ever had the unfortunate thing I've been dealing with. fish was in order and the scallops were good, but the chips were extremely normal and serve an incredibly miserable. price wise I kept it expensive compared to other fishing and chipperies in the immediate opposite for the lousy I got. very debatable, whether I would go back, and I had to say to the person that she recommended it was a terrible experience. Hopefully, the 2 employees learn how to smile and treat how they want to be treated.
The best fish and scallops I had for a long time. the teig was light and crispy. very tasty. we also order oysters a big size and $12 a dozen. very fresh. is definitely recommended. make them ready to shorten, but not for long. again a second time great sat and the personal is so ready to help. I'm always buying flocks, but perch melted it in my mouth. Thank you.
I put a big contract with advance notice in a last holiday after batemans bay. they had no flocks, only offered fried dim sims (not damped) and the chips were pushed and seemed overboiled or a few days old. I don't know why this place has a relatiw big call.
