Rising Sun

Everything you want in a village pub more. Whilst out for a walk we popped in for a drink we’re really glad we did. They were so friendly the menu sounded so good we booked for dinner. Some of the friendliest best service we’ve had the pleasure of anywhere the food was excellent. Pie night is a real winner, exceptional food wonderful service. Amazing value too.

A proper pub. Great St Austell beers, good craich, great local banter and a brilliant beer garden with a fantastic view. We had some of the smaller plates for dinner (think Tapas style portions) and they were all great. Especially the faggots with such a rich gravy, and the buffalo wings. We loved it and will come back again when next in the area.

With the family for a place of lunch after a friend recommended it to us and young, we were not disappointed!. eating was exceptional, served by excellent waiting staff and bar staff and if I rate it from 10, I would give it 100/10. seriously can't express enough as brilliant it was. would highly recommend this beautiful pub absolutely everyone!. we will definitely come back.

Lately we were here, and the eating, the setting and the staff are all 5 stars. I had the sunday roast pork (they are behind their own) and it was so delicate and tasteful with a huge homemade yorkshire. I also had the steak and it was so tender. pensfold is a beautiful hidden gem as soon as they get away from the main road and the rising sun make it easy that little lovers.

A bit lunch in the rising sun with Nabeby...delicious! the bark meat and the ale stew with garlic macaroni could not damage. in any case recommend.
