Meo Mio's Cajun Seafood - Bath Springs

The price was far too high for the quality of the crab. I regret not just buying some and saving myself $200. Additionally, everyone who ate it ended up with an upset stomach.

We decided to give this restaurant a try despite the negative rumors surrounding it. While the staff was friendly and the place was clean, unfortunately, none of us enjoyed our meals. We won’t be returning. Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20.

We chose to share the 12 oz ribeye (4/5), and it proved to be a hefty serving! The steak was cooked to perfection and wonderfully seasoned, packed with flavor. While it had a bit more fat than the usual ribeye, it didn't take away from our overall enjoyment. It came with a side salad that was refreshing, especially with the vinaigrette dressing. The baked potato was generously topped with sour cream and butter. All in all, we were very satisfied with our experience!

The restaurant is situated in a fantastic location and was once highly regarded by the locals. Now, they’re only open on Fridays and Saturdays from about 4:30 to 8:30 PM, as noted on a sign on the front door. The porch lights are off, leading to a lack of curb appeal, and the interior feels outdated. The restrooms are in dire need of renovation, lacking paper towels, and the faucets are missing diffusers, causing water to splash everywhere. This place has so much potential, but if things continue as they are, it won't last much longer. It’s currently for sale, but at a price of a million dollars, it seems unlikely that a sale will happen anytime soon. The restaurant requires significant updates, and the staff appears unhappy, which does not bode well for its future. Nevertheless, I hope it can bounce back and regain its former glory.
