The ground floor is a literal wine shop with tables scattered around. Downstairs is the Vault, which is a slightly more traditional looking restaurant. Food is tapas/small plates, and well done. Definitely recommend the meat cheese charcuterie board. £15 *per bottle* corking fee even if you buy the bottle from the shop this seems a little excessive. But the restaurant wine list is pretty good, so sticking to that is probably fine.
Had really good service here and the food was brilliant. They were able to recommend for me the right drinks to have with the dessert. Which was a really nice cherry chocolate mousse. Would come back again.
Honestly couldn’t fault it. We went for some nibbles and wine later in the evening and hadn’t expected it to be quite as good as it was. The setting was perfect and every single member of staff was beyond lovely. That, on top of delicious food and wine made it the perfect place to go for our Saturday night. Can’t wait to go back!
What a find! Great place to just meet socially at the back of a wine sales shop. Small area with sofa and chairs. You can choose any wines they sake as just pay corkage in top. The other part is a restaurant that serves small plates, and wow the food was amazing. Reasonably priced and such friendly service. You must go here to this independent place and not your routine big chains although not really the place to take a family with teenagers it younger children.
