Castle Farm Cafe - Bath

We visited this wonderful café in Bath today for coffee, and I couldn't be happier with our experience. It's such a cozy place with really friendly staff. I ordered a vegan pizza, which was absolutely delicious. The chef even offered to prepare a vegan dessert for us—a chocolate mousse that I highly recommend. I love how this place accommodates all dietary preferences. I would give it 5 stars if I could! We’re already looking forward to booking dinner there on our next visit. I also had a lovely chat with the owner. Thank you for making our day so special with our family!

This is a welcoming and laid-back spot for food lovers, ideal for a Sunday dinner, a Friday night curry, or a leisurely Saturday afternoon coffee. There are always three courses available, and the offerings often extend beyond the menu. The Sunday dinner is exceptional. The team is friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!

I visited for lunch for the first time since the new owners took over. The menu has been significantly reduced, and there are no vegan or vegetarian options available, which means I had to ask about alternatives—similar to the less desirable days in the past. They've also introduced meat dishes, which is disappointing since it used to be completely vegetarian. The atmosphere was lacking as well. I ordered a sweet soup that was slightly under-seasoned, but otherwise, it was good. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll return, as this visit was quite disappointing compared to what it used to be.

We ended up really over ordering here as it is quite cheap so thought we would need a lot more than we did! Between two people we had the soup, arancini, jacket potato with beans and a stew. The food was delicious and tasted nice and healthy and was perfect for a very cold day. We also got some chocolate orange slices to take away which were also great. It was a very cold day and they even had hot water bottles and blankets to warm us up!
