Oxford Hotel - Bathurst

Venue had no problems at all coping with our 30 plus booking of families. Food was served promptly and hot. Steak was cooked rare as requested, as was my main with salad not chips. All plates licked clean.

This pub is not bad. It is basically a normal pub downstairs, with an ''up-market'' area upstairs which caters to casual diners, functions, people wanting a quiet drink in a nicer atmosphere, and groups having parties of all kinds. The upstairs service is pretty slow on a busy night. The pizzas (cheapest option on the menu) are absolute rubbish, and overpriced for the minute smear of topping you get. The other food is basic pub grub, but a bit too expensive. Upstairs good atmosphere and pleasant surroundings spoiled by high prices for very ordinary food.

Tues night was quiet, the staff were polite, we had a table near the fire, the prosciutto was good and the rump of lamb was perfect.

Cheap drinks! Decent food, the Monday buy one get one main free deal is superb! Had a few Starters as well.

Large open downstairs bar, parking right out front. Favourite with locals. 2 tvs (music and sport). Good selection of beers. Clean toilets but looked liked they had been beaten up. Toilet seats missing etc. good spot.
