18 Steak - Baton Rouge

The steaks were cooked as we ordered, and the rest of the food was decent—good, but nothing outstanding that would draw us back. For dessert, we ordered the bread pudding and chocolate torte. The bread pudding was served nicely in a bowl with sauce poured by the server, but the torte arrived in a plastic to-go container, just thrown on the table. This left us all confused, and we'll probably never know why they did that. Overall, I’d prefer to spend my $479 elsewhere.

A couple of weeks ago, my husband and I had our first visit to this restaurant, accompanied by friends who were more familiar with 18 Steak. I have to say, WOW! What an incredible meal and excellent service. Our server, Christina, was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. She made sure we were comfortable and fully understood our meat options. She even recommended a wine for our table, which was a nice touch. While this won't be a regular dining spot for us due to the higher prices, we left feeling we had enjoyed a delicious, high-quality meal and outstanding customer service, all thanks to Christina!

I was completely blown away and impressed by everything! The steak, mac and cheese, Brussels sprouts, pasta, and scallops were all phenomenal. A huge thank you to Garrett for your excellent service—everything was top-notch!

Ordered the Australian Wagyu expecting top tier steak...it wasnt in my opinion. The steak had a lot of gristle and was tough. I could not even tell it was an $80 steak. Ambiance of the restaurant was nice as it over looks the river, and so was ourwaiter, but it isn't something I'd go back to again especially to spend $300 and leave dissatisfied.

My wife and I wanted to celebrate our anniversary and the exciting news of expecting our first child, and we were looking to have a great time. Gavin, the manager, and Evan, our waiter, provided exceptional service. Christopher and his lovely wife also inquired about our due date, which added a personal touch to our evening. I can't express how positive our experience was. Thank you!
