Bayou Seafood Deli - Baton Rouge

The food used to be good not as good as it used to be.

It’s okay, just wish they would change up their menu

I have a few concerns with this restaurant. First, they charge extra for fortune cookies, which I believe should be included with the meal. Additionally, there's a $1 fee for using a credit card, and if you order hot wings, they only offer ranch dressing on the side. I can't recall another restaurant doing this. If we push for better service and offerings, we’ll likely see improvements – just a thought!

The staff is friendly, the store is clean, and the food is fresh, hot, and delicious.

During our road trip across the country, we found ourselves passing through Baton Rouge. My husband enjoys exploring towns and searching for great food, and that’s how we discovered Bayou Seafood and Deli. We were expecting something different based on the name, but we were pleasantly surprised. My husband ordered chicken wings and an egg roll, while I opted for jumbo shrimp and potato wedges. I have to say, the next time we're near Baton Rouge, we’ll definitely take a detour to visit this place again. Those potato wedges were absolutely AMAZING! We weren't huge fans of the egg rolls, but that's probably just because we’re accustomed to a different style. My husband mentioned that the wings were also really good. And the price was incredible! We paid only $13 for all that food, which is unheard of—we expected to spend in the $30 range. Overall, the food was fantastic, the price was great, and the restaurant was very clean. We will definitely be coming back!
