Where to start... Drunken Fish boasts numerous amazing qualities! After dining there for years and tasting everything on the menu, I can confidently recommend any dish they offer. If you're looking for suggestions, I highly recommend beginning with the spicy lemongrass beef soup or the spicy salted shrimp. Make sure to complement your meal with some sake or an imported beer – it enhances the fun experience! Regarding parking, the restaurant is conveniently located on Highland next to the Valero Gas Station, making it easily accessible for those near the LSU campus.

I had a disappointing experience at this Japanese restaurant. The tuna sashimi was inedible, though the yellowtail and salmon were acceptable. The pho was just average, but the rolls were enjoyable. However, the staff did not offer any compensation for the tuna issue, and I didn’t want to make a scene. Additionally, the staff seemed rushed to clean up and close, which really took away from the overall dining experience. It was also unappealing to see fish wrapped in paper towels, which affected my enjoyment of the meal.

When we spoke to the manager about our concerns, she seemed to think we were simply trying to get a free meal, despite the fact that we had hardly eaten anything. The little we did consume actually made us feel sick. In the end, she only agreed to charge us for the food we had eaten, even though it was not only unappealing but also caused us to feel unwell. It was quite disappointing, and it felt even worse to be treated poorly when we voiced our concerns about the food quality.

Always a yummy experience. Quality sushi, fresh and tasty. Sure wish they would bring back the elixir though as I loved that on my salad and to take home. The Drunken Fish and Naruto are my favorite rolls.Food: 5/5

I ordered the Philadelphia roll and edamame and they gave me a miso soup for free! Made my night? everything was delicious! I also asked for crunchy tempura flakes and they added it with no extra charge. Love this place?
