Had my first-ever Natchitoches meat pie, plus boudin cakes, a refreshing strawberry vinaigrette salad, mashed potatoes, and a lemon icebox pie that was still delicious after a 90-minute car ride home. Everything was excellent, and the waitstaff were extremely friendly. I love Elsie’s. I’ve had the seafood pot pie, the crawfish hand pies and the stuffed shrimp and they were all delicious. The roasted garlic salad dressing is amazing. I haven’t had any sweet pies yet but I definitely will. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Went to Elsie's Plate and Pie for dinner last night and WOW! I'm ashamed that it took me so long to visit this place. The food was awesome! I had the seafood put pot pie and it was piled with seafood in every bite. Also had the seafood bisque and it was define! Even the salad was delicious! I had the pimento cheese salad and man oh man, it was everything I needed it to be lol! The service was also good, the staff were friendly and created a very welcoming environment and the prices were very reasonable so 10/10, highly recommend! Crawfish Queso was so yummy. I also had the Louisiana Poulet Pot Pie and it was amazing. The first bite made me pause it was so good. The smokiness in the filling was spot on. The crust was so flaky.
