Frankies Dawg House - Baton Rouge

Really charming little spot. They are so friendly and love dogs! Every time we come our pup gets a free hot dog. It's a small little shack with a homey feel. Great spot for lunch on a sunny day with outdoor seating in front and in back. The Chicago dog is delicious and so is the crawfish dog. The service is a little slow when it gets busy because there is only 1 or 2 people in the kitchen and there is only one grill but it is worth the wait.

Superb experience every time it?s almost like you are walking into your favorite aunts house the owners are so hands-on you feel comfortable before you even taste the food we always like to sit on the patio great view great weather and theThe lemonade OMG

We arrived maybe an hour or so before closing but luckily we were able to still get some food. Everything was just how it looked nothing spectacular but good enough. Some of the food was on the colder side but maybe since it was close to the end of the day. On the pricier side but portions are decent and plenty of outdoor seating. There?s also a cute kitty that lives on the property!

This is a small unassuming spot. There is a large outside patio seating for those who enjoy such. I confess I love a good hot dog. I know they are not the more healthily things to eat but don’t we all eat the things we shouldn’t? I had the Junkyard Dawg. I thought it was really good, the service was very friendly and prompt. I recommend you give it a try if you like hot dogs and are in the area.

Good cheap eats! Frankie's has an excellent selection of tasty hot dog combinations. I wish they offered a whole wheat bun, but you can't have everything.
