Highland Coffees - Baton Rouge

The blond attending seems to not really like being there, no problem, just a bit awkward when asking for my black tea. Besides that, the place is amazing.

I visit this location this morning around 11am. It was semi-busy and we didn?t mind. I was excited because I was about to get coffee. This soon changed. The young lady that helped us either had a long night or no sleep because she was leaning on thecorner and yawning. She took our order and made our drinks. So we ordered two coffees (ice lattes both with oat milk and onewith flavor) which would have came to $4 change which I rounded to $5 each. That came to $10 for coffee and my daughter gotan fruit ice blended drink which was $5 some change and I rounded it to 6. So my total before tax would have been $16 plustax. She charged me $22.25. Of course I paid. I ask if she can explain how did she come up with the price she informed me thatit was tax. After going back and forth with her clearing it wasn?t making sense to her and she couldn?t figure out how she overcharged me. I left feeling cheated. If she just wanted the tip she could have just said that! There were some more otherthings that happened this morning but I just don?t have time to list them all. Very bad experience!

Hehehe I?m sooooo happy, but sad at the same time. This coffee shop is amazing!! I?ve been having this saved in my want to go list for years! Last time I didn?t stop because of parking but I found parking this time! Jiji I?m sad because I love thisplace and i live So far from here! With such a relaxing Vibe, I could read books all day. Oh and such friendly friendlyservice mannnn I want to move here ????

First, and foremost, outstanding coffee! Roaster on site. Very prompt service. The atmosphere was great. Roomy and calm. Nice little patio area set back from the street. SO happy to find this place.

Fabulous coffee! I got a decaf vanilla iced latte it was perfect!! Not too sweet, creamy, delicious! The chocolate muffin was also excellent very soft. The staff is very friendly helpful. There are lots of seating choices and wifi. I really enjoyedmy time there. ????
