Ihop - Baton Rouge

We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at this restaurant. The food and service were excellent, and we will certainly return. Our meals arrived hot, fresh, and prepared exactly as we requested. The happy hour offers a great selection of affordable and satisfying options for a quick bite.

The waitress was attentive and friendly, although she could use some more help. Our food arrived later than expected, resulting in it being cold and not very flavorful. I hesitated to complain because there was only one waitress, but she handled the situation professionally. The manager came out to evaluate the issue that had already been resolved, but was unable to stop the arguing among the staff. The main issue was poor time management and a lack of staffing. We chose not to ask for more food as there was a line of people waiting and we didn't want to be selfish.

Every time we come to this restaurant, we hope for the best, but we are always let down. Despite undergoing a recent renovation, our experience was disappointing. Upon arrival, no one greeted us and we waited for over 10 minutes before being seated. The service was slow and our waitress seemed overwhelmed with other responsibilities. They didn't have clean utensils and had to give us plastic ones. The food was greasy and difficult to eat. We won't be returning anytime soon.

The waitress forgot what my friend and I was drinking, she came back 30 mins later to ask what we were drinking and what we ordered. It took over an hour to get our pancakes and to go order. The manager tried to say it was the kitchens fault that they were backed up but honestly, I think the waitress forgot our order. So the waitress forgot our food and the manager blamed the kitchen and didn't even offer anything for the wasted time we were there or the fact we were about starving when we finally got or food. I would say that this I Hop is one to avoid.

This is still a popular place to visit no matter which location. I got my meal and went on to gamble with a full stomach.
