Insomnia Cookies - Baton Rouge

I don't usually write negative reviews, but I have to say this one is well deserved. We placed an order for cookies at 8:30pm and waited for two hours with no update. When we tried calling Insomnia for an update, there was no answer. The cookies finally arrived at 1:30am, but we were surprised to find melted ice cream and a giant roach in the box. Very disappointed with the lack of communication and cleanliness.

The cookies and dessert are usually very well made and delicious, however sometimes there is a chance of very hard and unpleasant cookies. The customer service is pretty much a miss. It is very difficult to communicate with the store given the curbside pick up number as there is usually no response. The store does not update people on their situation either which can be infuriating at times.

Oh my goodness! These cookies are to die for! That is all. Just go and I promise you won?t be disappointed.

This is my first time visiting this restaurant and I am disappointed. I ordered a classic chocolate chip cookie and 3 deluxe cookies online. The classic cookie cost 2 dollars, but it was very small for the price. I was expecting a larger cookie for the price I paid, as the size was more like a Pillsbury cookie.

Today, I was helped by an employee named Trinity at the restaurant. She had a fantastic attitude and a smile that could brighten up the room. Although my son wanted Cookies and Cream ice cream, they were out of stock. Trinity suggested the birthday cake ice cream as a better option, which my son ended up loving. The ice cream had a beautiful blue color that kids would adore, with tasty chunks of nuts and cookies. Additionally, the cookies and brownies were warm and fresh. I highly recommend giving this place a try if you have a sweet tooth.
