Magpie Cafe - Baton Rouge

I love sitting outside on a chilly morning. The trees and foliage create a hideout for you to relax and enjoy your coffee. Magpie is my favorite cafe in BR because their espresso is brewed to perfection and they ALWAYS have vegan pastry options. Ilove the coconut yogurt with the granola and blueberries. You can bring your mug too! They?re wheelchair accessible too! There?ssomething for everyone at Magpie and the staff is VERY friendly and welcoming. It?s a great environment, thank you Magpie.

This restaurant is a bit expensive, but the food is tasty. When I ordered a specific type of muffin, I was given a different kind instead. I'm not too picky and don't have any dietary restrictions, so it wasn't a huge problem, but it should still be avoided. The iced coffee was decent, although I don't usually drink it. However, considering the price and the amount of ice in it, it wasn't really worth the cost.

During my visit to Baton Rouge, I tried their chai tea latte which was delicious. It was served with cute latte art in a nice cup. The zucchini bread was also quite tasty.

My family recently relocated to Baton Rouge and we were ecstatic to come across this charming coffee shop. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff are incredibly friendly. We are big fans of their delicious coffee and pastries, and we appreciate the variety of vegan options available.

I admit that I did not go for the coffee. I tried a parfait and a baked good to go. The chocolate and peanut butter whoopie pie was fluffy but not a lot of flavor. The parfait was just so sad. A few blueberries on top and an even smaller amount of granolain a barely full container to pour in the yogurt. I didn't feel like I got my money's worth, but the atmosphere seemed cool andthe server was nice.
