Mcdonald's - Baton Rouge

Overall, it was quite a straightforward experience, but that's exactly the kind of simplicity you want from fast food, right? Otherwise, it wouldn't be fast! The staff was very friendly, and I was in and out in about five minutes. In fact, I’m still in the parking lot after finishing my meal and planned to go back in for a Coke refill. If that were an issue, I might reconsider that fifth star... just kidding! Well, it’s now 9:08, and I had thought the lobby was open late, but I found the doors locked when I went back for my drink. So, it seems the lobby closes at 9! Looks like it turned a bit eventful after all! But that’s on me. Five stars for McDonald's! Great job!

The food here tends to be high in fat and sugar, as usual. The oatmeal I had was quite good, served with a small packet of chopped apples and another packet of cranberries and raisins. While it was instant oatmeal, that's the same type I use at home. You might need to order two servings to feel satisfied for a full meal. Overall, milk and oatmeal with fruit make for a decent breakfast.
