Rocca Pizzeria - Baton Rouge

In my opinion, this is the best pizza in Baton Rouge! They make artisan hand-tossed, wood-fired pizza, and their Garlic Knots are a must-try. The toppings like chimichurri, fresh herbs, grana, and whipped provolone are something you don't see every day. I also appreciate that they offer the option of choosing between red pies or white pies. The bistro setting is lovely, and they have a great selection of cocktails, wine, and beer. The service is attentive and friendly. This place is definitely a favorite of ours.

The pizza at this restaurant is the best wood-fired pizza in the state of Louisiana, and I'm not joking when I say I've tried them all. The only one that was better was Bread and Circus in Lafayette, but unfortunately they have closed down. Rocca also offers some of the best small shareable plates. All of the dishes will elevate your taste buds. The garlic knots are exceptional, and the whipped cheese that comes with them will make you question why you ever settled for block cheese.

We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered at this restaurant! The flavors on their house pizzas were expertly paired and delicious. We tried 5 different pizzas as well as the garlic knots, which were a must-try! The whipped ricotta that came with the garlic knots was light and fluffy, and absolutely delicious. We also sampled the shrimp crossing, which was served cold, but still tasty. Our favorite pizzas were the shrimp diavlo and the mushroom medley. The crust was not too thin, which we appreciated. The service was excellent, our server was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was pleasant, with nice music playing at a comfortable volume. The restaurant had a cute, open, industrial theme. We will definitely be returning to try their happy hour specials on food and drinks.

This was a great experience and the food was amazing. This is not your typical pizza. Wood burning oven the give you that nice crisp on the outside with great flavor. They have an amazing selection of drinks, appetizers, entrees, pizza, and desserts. Youwill enjoy the atmosphere and a great place for a date night or just to have fun. You have to try this place out if you haven?talready. Love it.
