Schlittz Giggles Perkins - Baton Rouge

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The nachos were overcooked and took 30 minutes to arrive, despite there being few customers. The waitress was inattentive and didn't offer refills, and we waited an hour and a half for mediocre pizza. The restaurant prioritized online orders over seated customers, leading to long wait times and poor service. Overall, I was disappointed and had higher expectations for this place.

My waiter, Marcel, was very nice and tried his best to accommodate me. The garlic knots I ordered could have used more garlic and my beverage took over 40 minutes to arrive because they forgot to make it. My pizza, the Rustico, came out 12 minutes later and was extremely thin to the point where it couldn't be picked up. It was also made incorrectly. In the end, they gave me 25% off my order, but I was disappointed with the lack of urgency and attention to detail. I understand the challenges of the pandemic, but it didn't seem like that was the issue here. I probably won't be returning, despite liking the name of the restaurant.

This is my first time having this pizza since 2009! I've never eaten at this location before, but my last visit was at the 3rd street location. Although it feels like it's been 100 years, I remember the pizza being really good, but just don't remember the exact flavor. Well, I must say the pizza is still AMAZING and packed with flavor!! Definitely one of the best pizzas in the Baton Rouge area, maybe even the southern portion of Louisiana. Lol I got it to geaux, but theatmosphere is relaxing and chill. I got THE BIG PEPPERONI and RUSTICO in the solo size, but it also comes in 18 . Both were very delicious. Next time I won't wait over 13 years to visit again!!

During our visit to Baton Rouge, we were in need of a quick meal and decided to try Schlittz Giggles, which was conveniently located only two blocks away from our hotel. Despite the older building in downtown, the staff was friendly and the atmosphere was perfect for families. We ordered a variety of pizzas and some garlic knots. The individual-sized kitchen floor pizza was delicious, although the crust was a bit floppy due to the generous amount of toppings. The 18-inch pepperoni and ham pizza had a solid crust and the sauce and toppings were fantastic. The garlic knots were a standout, but very garlicky, so be warned if you are not a fan of garlic. Covered in Parmesan cheese and garlic sauce, they were incredibly delicious. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pizza at this unexpected find in Louisiana and highly recommend Schlittz Giggles.

I ordered online and picked up food for my twins' birthday party. The staff delivered the food to my car and it was ready when I arrived. They had pizza cut into squares which was perfect for our party. We had 16 teens and four adults who enjoyed four large pizzas and two orders of garlic knots. The pizza was delicious, especially the BBQ chicken flavor.
