Tropical Smoothie Cafe - Baton Rouge

The chicken, bacon, and ranch flatbread was absolutely delicious! The flatbread had a delightful crispiness to it. I can't wait to try the chicken mango flatbread next. The customer service was excellent, with very friendly staff. I highly recommend this place for a quick, healthy lunch and a fantastic experience. Plus, they have a drive-thru!

This was my first visit to the restaurant. The food and smoothies are decent. I appreciate that they allow you to customize your wrap, sandwich, or salad by substituting or adding items. They also offer a wide range of supplements for your smoothies. However, the standout for me was the service. The woman who assisted me was kind and patient; she walked me through all the options available, and for anything she wasn’t sure about, she made it a point to ask a colleague so I could get the information I needed. I will definitely be returning; this place is a great option if you’re starting on a healthy eating journey.

When another employee came over, the initial worker attempted to blame me for the situation, even though it was her mistake for not pressing the right button and incorrectly informing me that my order had gone through. To make matters worse, she tossed the bag into my car without even handing it to me, saying "Just take it" while making rude gestures. Her customer service skills were absolutely lacking. I've never had an issue at this location or any other before this encounter, and it was disappointing to see such unprofessional behavior from someone who looked to be at least 35-40 years old trying to place the blame on a college student. The food is great, but I'm now hesitant to return if this is how customers are treated. 0/10 for customer service.
