Walk On's Sports Bistreaux Towne Center

We had an early night out with friends and decided to stop by Walk-On's, which was open at 8:00 on a Wednesday. Since there were quite a few of us, we took up a few tables, and the hosts and servers promptly attended to us. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, and the service was excellent. While the beer selection was a bit limited, I was still pleased with what I had alongside my meal. There were a few errors with the food orders, but the staff handled them well, ensuring everyone was happy. I would definitely recommend returning for a great meal and an enjoyable experience.

I’m not sure what those white spots were on my broccoli, but I found them unappetizing. Plus, my fish portions were very small, and the presentation was disappointing. I don’t plan on returning. I had previously ordered from the Lafayette location, and they filled my tacos generously! Edit: I realize that my earlier comment may not have been accurate, but I still haven't received any explanation about why the broccoli tasted like it was four days old.

My family and I visited the restaurant a bit after lunch on Sunday, and we were seated immediately. The customer service was great, and our food arrived in a timely manner. The only issue we encountered was that the buffalo wings were served at the same time everyone was almost finished. It seemed they had forgotten to bring them out initially, and when they did, the wings were soaked in buffalo sauce, making them look unappealing. We ended up sending them back, but the bounty, shrimp, and pickles were delicious. I especially loved the Pommes!

So glad I paid $60 on my waiter order for food, that wasn't even what we asked. Fried chicken in buffalo packing, no tomatoes, ranch on the side, and maybe some frits that were completely soggy would be great next time. Walk-ons never stops completely disappointing.

The food would have been a 5 if the grits were a little more creamy. The shrimp on top was tasty. It was a shrimp stuffed with cream cheese and jalapeños wrapped in bacon glazed with a jalapeño pepper jelly. I wanted to love the corn grits only if they were more creamier.
