Ok the title was exaggerated, yet this take away food store is truly a Gem.<br/ When placing an order over the phone, a gentle relaxed voice answers 'Good evening, Baxter fish and chips; how may I help you '<br/ 'MANNERS I love them '... I thought they were removed from our vernacular!<br/ Upon entering their shop, one is met with a smile from the owner and his staff. And that 's no sales pitch. 'They 're genuine '.<br/ The food is to die for. If you ask for a sandwich, there 's fresh salad laid-on; and it 's HUGE... The fish and potato cakes have a beautiful light batter. A terrific menu to chose from, including Gluten free options. The prices are very fair and reasonable. Mark my words, this will set new standards in your culinary expectations. These people care about their food, and us the consumer!<br/ As humans we are very quick to knock, it would be remiss of me not to have reviewed such a terrific take away food store.<br/ Bon apatite '

Great burgers and chips. I big burger that will satisfy any hunger. Generous servings of chips make this a good choice!

Being a celiac sux big time. Trying to find take away that caters for Gluten Free is very hard. But the Baxter F C shop rocks. Chips were awesome, fish (Barramundi) crab sticks was beautiful. Gluten Free batter was a little oily but over all great food. Will be back again next time I'm down that way. Thanks guys you made my day.

I first called Baxter Fish Chips to enquire and was super excited to confirm their gluten free menu included potato cakes! The shop was busy when we visited, the day before New Year's Eve at around 7pm. The staff both young and older were friendly and helpful. Once we collected our paper parcels after an informed 30 minute wait, my family and I headed off to the nearest beach so that we could enjoy a true fish and chip meal by the sea.
