Been an avid Indian food eater for many years and have to honestly say this is the best I’ve ever eaten, can’t believ I’ve driven past so many times will definitely be back very soon and bringing my friends with me also

Apologies for the delayed review, as we had trouble finding your location on Trip Advisor. Nevertheless, a few weeks ago, my friends and I attended a special Bartercard meeting at your restaurant on a Thursday night, and I must say it was absolutely fantastic. The service, food, and atmosphere were all excellent. The highlight was the butter chicken, which was the best I have ever had. The other dishes, including pappadums, naan, rice, vegetarian options, beef and vegetable dishes, and desserts were all delicious as well. Kudos to the entire staff at Indian Mahal for a job well done. We will definitely be returning in the future. Best wishes, Helen and David from Langwarrin.

Chef Khatri is a brilliant cook. Together with all his staff he presents a magic dining experience, delicious Northern India cuisine, and the take aways are to die for, the buffet menu on Sundays are so inexpensive and the variety of food is amazing. Do try !!

Other than slightly burnt Naan bread the food was amazing. Recommend a visit when you come to the Mornington Peninsula We can not wait to come back again. Victor My Guide Mornington Peninsula

We have visited this restaurant multiple times and have also ordered takeout. Tonight, I was given a specific time for our meal to be delivered. However, half an hour after that time had passed, I called the restaurant and was informed that someone had just left. Despite being only a 5-minute drive away via Eastlink, our meal still had not arrived after 30 minutes. I called again and was told that someone had just left once more. Another 20 minutes passed with no sign of our meal. After calling again, I was informed for the third time that someone had just left. By this point, I was very frustrated. I was assured that we would not be charged for the meal. Finally, after 15 more minutes, our meal arrived. I apologize if I came off as rude, but waiting 2 1/2 hours after being told to expect a 50-minute wait, and being told three times that someone had just left, was disappointing. However, the food was as delicious as always, and I appreciate the restaurant keeping their word by not charging us. This experience has not changed our opinion of the restaurant or the food. We will still recommend it to others and continue to dine here.
