American Kitchen - Bay City

When we came there, they were very busy, so it went a bit to serve, but the waitress did it well and made a great job. eating was quite good and the sweet potato friries were amazing! the atmosphere is really nice and the restaurant and the bathroom were very clean. next time we're in the opposite.

Delicious food. My husband got the 50/50 burger, half bacon/half beef. It was delicious and not as greasy as I expected. I got the Texas wildfire burger which was a great level of spicy. We also had a tasty cocktail and draft beer. They had specials advertised on the menu but we realized when we got home that they didn't give us the special pricing (half off the beer and cocktail), so make sure to double check your receipt! A fun atmosphere overall.

The food was excellent. The service was great. But the chairs are the most uncomfortable chairs I have ever sat in.

I've been here a couple of times, the food usually tastes good (not the best), the ambience is good, the servers were not very attentive in our last visit, but still not too bad. The Green Fried beans are very good to try and burgers are good.

Cool vibe to the place. The slider sample plate looked great but wasn't very tasty (a bit over cooked) . The speciality burger toppings (bourbon onions, etc) were under whelming. Perhaps the full size burgers would have been juicier and more flavorful. Shoe string fries were good.
