Lighthouse Bbq Cafe - Bay City

Small cafe/restaurant but great food. BBQ ribs were awesome, no need for sauce, just ate them plain. Will certainly eat there again.

My husband once worked at the plant nearby. Met a former coworker for lunch and glad she suggested it. It doesn't look that inviting from the outside but it is nicely decorated in a Western theme inside. The waitress was so nice. I had chicken stripsalad and it was good. Wish I had gone with the salad bar instead as when we were leaving I stopped to look at it andeverything looked delicious.

The food was good and the waitress was nice; however, the front door was stuck and I needed help to open it. Then the door to the women's bathroom wouldn't close so I had to have someone stand outside and watch that no one came in. Plus, there was nosoap or towels in the bathroom.

This is not a bbq place. My ?BBQ? spud, had chicken on it that tasted like he had been baked in the oven and just had put bbq sauce on it. Absolutely disgusting I do not recommend it.

Best chicken fried steak ever! BLT was awesome. Super reasonably priced and great service. Looks are deceiving.
