Meaty's Roadhouse Bbq Sausage Shack

I had an amazing BBQ experience with a diverse menu. I ordered the chicken tacos, and the portions were generous, plus you get to choose a side. I loved sitting outside at the picnic tables while I waited for my food. There were so many sauce options available that I wanted to try them all!

This is an incredible spot for a quick meal while traveling. The shop has a unique vibe, and the staff were very friendly. We enjoyed our food, but what really made the experience memorable was the outdoor seating area.

Amazing BBQ! We ordered the ultimate sampler, which included chicken, ribs, brisket, and kielbasa, served with freshly cut chips and onion rings. Everything was fantastic! The meat was perfectly smoked, high-quality, and juicy without being overly fatty. The chips and onion rings were just the way I like them—crispy but not burnt. The service was excellent, and the seating area was beautiful and spacious. I highly recommend this place!

I am from the city and I am so surprised that this place has not filled the wall to wall with people. our eating was incredible and I get gras over bbq places. it is in the rule the main flesh are good and the sides are meh or vice versa but which is not the case here. baked beans coleslaw, fries ripening huh, the Bbq sauces, all absolutely wonderful. the it area is very comfortable with the terrace next to railways with some cute lights. I just have to pay attention to bugs and the occasional seagull. If I'm ever back in the opposite, this lil ol-crack is a must.

My son lives near Charlevoix and I am from the Detroit area. We meet kind of halfway at Bay City and hang out by the River Walk. Discovered Meatys BBQ just around the corner. Wow wow wow. Food was super duper delicious. We had the sampler which was ribs, chicken, sausage, and a brisket. We were glad they sold beer too lol. They have a great patio behind the building which is completely shaded and very nice. If you're in the area you've got to get some!
