Wife ordered the short rib and half the portion was all fat. We mentioned to the waiter who said “it’s usually leaner” and walked away no mention of trying to make it right. Risotto was ordered as a side and just didn’t taste right. My $72 ribeye was ordered medium and was cooked inconsistently with portions well done. Overall unimpressed save some money and go eat at Chandlers in downtown Petoskey instead were we ate the night before and was tremendous.
Food was excellent! Our server was very nice and helpful. We went early cuz other times where booked but it was a heavy meal that I am glad we went at 445
Food and ambience excellent. Fine dining in somewhat casual space which is perfect for a resort on the lake. Only complaint is prices. I added Scottish salmon to my salad and was served a 3-4 ounce piece for an up-charge of $21. Never have I added salmon to a salad and received such a small serving. And never has the charge been close to $21!
Food wasn’t hot and dessert was a disaster for a special occasion. GM was very apologetic and was accommodating. We will try again to see if they worked out these issues another time.
Our reservations were early 4:45 therefore there were more families at this time. We are older and tend to dress for dinner in nicer establishments. It is disappointing to see people in jeans, shorts and t-shirts at a fine dining restaurant. However, service was nice and the food was excellent.
