Jour De Crepe - Bay Lake

Jour de Crepe serves both savory and sweet crepes. There was a long line waiting to order but they worked through the line quickly. When it was my turn I ordered a cheese crepe for my grandson and a margarita for me. The cheese crepe was made with mozzarella cheese and a light sprinkle of oregano. It was simple and tasty. Perfect for a child. The margarita crepe had mozzarella, tomatoes , oregano, arugula and a balsamic reduction. The balsamic reduction was delicious and made all of the other flavors pop. After we ate our crepes I ordered another one with only butter and honey. It was light and delicious!! A real treat.

The food truck came to my office downtown Orlando for a fundraiser. I had the Lobster tail was delicious!!!

I've eaten from here three separate times had different menu items they were all really good! My favorite by far, though, has been their lobster crepe! If you see this food truck at one of the events here in Orlando (usually in Windermere, at least from what I can tell), definitely give them a try!

They were one of the many food trucks at the Orlando Holiday Celebration for Florida Hospital (soon to be AdventHealth). I tried the Philly steak savory crepe and it was delicious. Folded up to be handheld. No utensils required! It made walking around to check out the rest of the festivities super easy, not having to deal with a knife and fork. Two thumbs up! They also do sweet crepes, but I did not have a chance to check them out.

The crepe I had was underwhelming, falling short of my expectations given the appealing appearance of the food truck. I ordered the dulce de leche with coconut, and the flavor was merely average. The filling-to-crepe ratio was off; it felt like I was mostly eating a plain crepe with just a sprinkle of coconut. Additionally, the price seemed too steep for what I was served. While I can see why their savory crepes might be priced higher, I was left feeling disappointed with what was essentially a pancake with some syrup.
