The Friar's Nook - Bay Lake

Got breakfast from here! Got the sausage, egg, and cheese on a pretzel bun with tots. Everything was great and fresh!

We had the all-beef hotdog and tater tots, it was good, but over-priced. The service was slow.

Of course this is on the expensive side, being a Disney restaurant but my hot dog was a pretty good size. Service was good and they kept things moving. I just wish the macaroni and bacon was actually spread along my hotdog and not dumped in the middle and outside of it so that every bite was consistent. I've worked food service and things like that make a difference and seem to be a pretty good indicator for attention to detail. Anyway this could've been a random new employee so I would definitely be willing to give them a try again. My only other complaint was that their full menu was not posted in the restaurant, just their big ticket items. Had I not looked it up beforehand we would not have known that you could get a plain hotdog from this location. The guy working the register having to explain this to people also slowed things down a bit, not that he wasn't doing a good job expediting.

It would be so great if you could get fresh fruit, smoothies, or other breakfast options that are healthier and offer more than fried options.

Over all the food wasn't bad, it was the service. My curry brat tots were not made correctly (NO BRAT) I asked if I ordered incorrect and was told it's yours and said I wanted to speak with a manager and was asked why. So I had to explain again!!! They also forgot my two orders of hotdogs and tots. OMG!!!! I finally spoke to a manager after I receive my incorrect order. He asked me what I wanted, I just said you need to retrain his staff. I'll never eat there again. Very disappointed in their service.
