Eric's Place - Bay Minette

An early lunch, as our stomachs are still at ATL time. Good Patty Melts, nice staff and well maintained place. 1st time from Orange Beach, AL. We are a family of five, so it would have been nice to table (or fold as in public toilets) in the bathroom for the 6 months old. The food was good and the staff was friendly. Bay Minette, AL is quiet city like any small town.

Through and wanted something local, the service was great and the food.. Better. Good to stop. The steak was seasoned and perfectly cooked! I'll eat here again when I'm in town.

Eric took the initiative to welcome us and ask us if we are all right. He has a passion for cooking and his food definitely speaks volume. I highly recommend this place. Nice food, intimate hospitality.

Great house cooked food. I can't make a burger like him! Simply perfect you have a menu card so you can check the boxes exactly how you cooked your burger. He is so hospitable that you love the food!

Eric was working the smoker and the kitchen, but still took some time out to talk to us at the table. He descibes himself as just country. Pulled pork had a nice bark and was flavored with enough pecan wood smoke to let you know you weren 't at a chain restaurant. BBQ sauce had a nice balance of brown sugar and vinegar with a little hint of an unnamed boozy component that complimented the smoke. The hand cut fries were crispy and done just right.
