Galanga Thai Style Cuisine - Bay Shore

Was a little nervous bc the place was empty, but we were pleasantly surprised with our food! I had beef with mushrooms and spinach, which is very tasty and enough for 2 people! Hubby had noodles drunk with chicken, which was also very good - so good he ate everything! For appetizers we had chicken dumplings that were delicious and summer rolls that were not to our desires - not that they were bad... just not like those we get at our favorite Vietnamese place. Different country different court, I understand! We're definitely going back. Excellent service.

Visited this restaurant for the first time on 2/26/16 and if I can make it there weekly I could make sure... had the mango chicken and pineapple it was DELICIOSO!

A hidden jewel. I loved every dish I took from here. I like you can choose a number of spiest from Level 1-5, 5 dead hot. Big plus you can BYOW. Even without bringing your own wine, the prices are very reasonable so that these are my first proposal when you go with a group.

Good for the price. It 's not really Thai food in the tradition sense: I would say about 70% Thai, with the remainder something that could be called Asian fusion . The quality of the food itself is okay, and pretty low-cost compared to most other Thai places around. If you 're on a budget and have a Thai craving (which happens to me from time to time), this is a pretty good option.

I like this restaurant a lot! I have been coming here for 2 years now and the staff and food have always been great. No complaints here. Just great food!
