Le Conquerant - Bayeux

It was a great pub for us. I wanted a cheeseburger, which they did very well. They recommended a good wine to accompany the hamburger (remarkably difficult to do.) it was a bit difficult to have a table because we arrived at 9 o'clock.

I came to sit at the bar at 1:00 and the place was busy - a good sign. I was well received and I was told that there would be a little waiting for food because of the number of people. It was very useful because I was on my lunch break. I ended up having a ham and cheese baguette, which was very good, and a local cider bottle. the culminating point of the visit was to meet and discuss with dara who at the same time listens and has stories to share. it directs a place with a good welcoming atmosphere and is a sociable person. I will certainly be back!

After a long day walking in the city, we stopped for a last meal before returning home. we made our choice among the outdoor tables to be able to enjoy the evening in peace. We both ordered hamburgers and a local beer that was served quickly. It was a delicious experience to relax after a long day and eat a good meal.

We had a light dinner and some beers here one night. The food was medium and the beers were good. I got the fish and chips, it was a little piece of fish and a nice portion of fries. I don't remember what my wife had.

Well located near the city centre, the cathedral and the tapestry museum. the staff was excellent and very convenient - we arrived after the closure of the kitchen for lunch, but they still took our orders without problems, what I found very nice of them. overall, food was good but nothing special - it is in no case a gastronomic pub - but sometimes good and predictable is all you need.
