Portside Bar Restaurant - BAYFIELD

I ordered smoked fish salad. it was great with blueberry granatapfel dressing. I also tried balsamico dressing that was also good. good help for fish. always the best fish from bayfield!

Portside bar and restaurant exceeded our expectations. we have a party of 15 for our high-time recipe. eating was amazing. they brought a local cheesecake for us, even with a whole house, they made sure we took care of us all the time. karen took care of us and was great to work with him. she made sure everything went perfectly for our big day. I wouldn't have asked for anything better.

I would like to begin by saying that our food was delicious and that the atmosphere is fun. the service we got was frustrating. the server that came over and took our drinks orders did not get glasses for the water carafe. her pencil was knitted in her hair, she made several unpleasant comments about the care of other tables fast, so they don't scream at her and don't get the bartender for our drinks at our table. our drinks were on the bar so long that they were sweaty when they finally brought them to us. it wasn't because the bartender was lazy. while we waited for the drinks, another server came by to apologize for waiting and take our drink order. it seemed like our table was posing....The empty water carafe was deleted with our app boards and was never returned and she was never in the dining room to ask more water. the scary was brought along while we were still eating. simply dropped on the table without asking if we want to eat or drink something else. after the card was executed, my man had to ask the barkeeper for a pen as our server, brittney was nowhere to find. overall we had a very disappointing experience. but not because of bad eating or atmosphere. I am particularly frustrated because this was one of the stations I was most happy about our holiday.

Made a reservation for a table on their deck as their Facebook page mentioned making reservations. They verified our reservation was for an outside table. Show up and they gave away the outdoor table that was reserved and only offered indoor seating. My family and I are avoiding indoor restaurants due to covid. A phone call notifying us of the change would have been nice so we could have planned to go elsewhere.

Excellent service and food was fresh and absolutely wonderful. Beautiful view. Plenty of room and no wait time. We will definitely be back!
