Nathan Restaurant - Bayswater

The food is very good, the place is clean, the price is reasonable. But the service is appaling!! The staff, or is it the owner (not sure), is abrupt and rude. Never came back since.

Look this place is plain and clean but it offers an extensive menu at very reasonable prices. The food is very good, freshly cooked to order with quality ingredients. The service was extremely friendly and efficient. A great first experience and will definitely be returning. A great Chinese restaurant in the eastern suburbs (close to Bayswater station). I was shocked by the rudeness of the staff at this restaurant! I will not be returning. Firstly, when we asked to add vegetables to a beef dish, we were told it couldn't be done because the dish doesn't come with vegetables. Then, when our entrees came out without sweet and sour sauce for the sesame toast, we were told that it goes with soy sauce and that the dish doesn't come with sweet and sour sauce. However, the next entree, wontons, did come out with sweet and sour sauce, which was confusing and frustrating. The staff seemed to have the sauce in their kitchen but didn't want to accommodate our requests. Overall, the customer service was extremely poor and everything felt like a hassle. I have never experienced such poor service at a restaurant before. The staff should be ashamed of themselves.

Do not go here! food is ok and cheap but the service is disgraceful, very rude and not accommodating to any of your requests, you cant even get sweet and sour sauce if you ask for it or vegetables to come with your meal. Avoid going here, there are plenty of Chinese restaurants in the area and this is the worst I've been too.

This restaurant is a peach .It is located in a quiet area but serves magnificent food.It is reasonably priced and tastes great.Service is good and the home made spring rolls and dim sims are good.
