This is one of my favorite places to enjoy a delicious bowl of bun, although they call it 'vermicelli' here. The pho is just okay. The decor is simple, but as a regular customer, I don't mind as I focus on enjoying my meal. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of their spring rolls and would recommend avoiding them.
I really enjoy this restaurant. The chicken pho is fantastic, authentic to Vietnamese cuisine with tender chicken breast and a flavorful broth. We also frequently order the BBQ pork, chicken ribs, and curry puffs, which always hit the spot.
What a delicious experience!! We ordered the fried tofu and spring rolls for entree, a lemon drink, ginger prawns with noodles and beef pho and a banana fritter each and the whole bill came to $66! The food was simply divine! The service is however where I have to mark down a little, had to ask for water twice, had to wave them down for desserts and they kept trying to take our plates away before we were finished but there was no huge problems and I will definitely return again, the prawns were to die for!
I tried the bun bo hue (spicy beef noodle soup) for $13. The broth was delicious, with just the right balance of saltiness and a delicate, rich flavor. The meat and noodles were also excellent, with good texture and not overcooked. However, the beef was dry and lacked flavor, which was a bit disappointing. Despite this, I would still consider coming back for more. The service was a 3 out of 5, as our order was incorrect - we received a small instead of a medium pho even though it was confirmed by the server. To fix the mistake, they simply poured the small pho into a medium bowl without adding any extra noodles or meat.
