The hurricane was good with an extra shot of rum. The Jack Daniels coke was weak. The rice in the boudian balls was soft mushy. I didn't care for the stuffed jalapeno as they were too hard. Everyone has their preference. I should have inquired as to whether or not they were pickled jalapenos. The bacon on them was cooked just right. The waitress was nice provided good service with the exception of continuously wiping her nose with her hand not washing afterwards. Not a bad place. I would like to see what the atmosphere is like later in the evening.
This place was great..the service was great. I had to take away one star for the roumalade sauce. I love that stuff and they missed the mark, it was too much mustard and vinegar. With that said everything else was amazing. No pictures of the boudin egg rolls, we ate them too fast. The black bayou shrimp fried rice was definitely worth going back for and the lemon pepper wings were super flavorful. I will definitely stop here again when I am near baytown.
I love the fact that it's a Cajun Vietnamese fusion. The Combination Pho broth was delicious, but the meat was a little tough for the most part. There were a few that were tender. Overall I liked it, and would eat it again. $14. Kind of pricey. The Boudin Eggrolls were pretty good. There was a little too much cheese in the middle so it kind of took away from the Boudin flavor. 2 for $6. Kind of pricey.
I absolutely love this place! Food is always delicious, staff is friendly, and the owner is very nice. My favorite menu items are their Salt Pepper Calamari and their Mangonada Margaritas ??
Great food, nice and clean inside, nice sharp design to the tables and chairs. Tvs on every wall so you dont miss the games, extensive seafood menu, and a nice selection of Cajun Pho inspired dishes. I recommend trying the Black Bayou Shrimp
