I just stumbled at this place that drove around Baytown and searched for a place to have a quick lunch. I tend to be drawn to independent Mexican restaurants. This place didn't disappoint me. I was very fast sitting served a drink, chips, salsa and queso. I had the beef fajita lunch special, it was less than $10 and I chose Charro beans over fried. All foods were abundant portions and very good they threw a little guacamole on the plate also. I ran into an old gentleman who appears to be a regular one there that is somewhere near a locomotive mechanic, and he and I met a conversation and had a very pleasant time. The place was busy, but not completely full, and the people came and went all the time. If I'm in Baytown and need lunch, I'll eat here again...
I speak very little Spanish, the waitress spoke very little English, but she got our order with the substitution of Napoli instead of French Pommes. Steak was boiled directly, the green enchiladas were delicious.
Love love love love their hot sauce. It might take a little bit in the drive thru but well worth the wait.
Great food and friendly staff! Also the hot sauce is really good, actually has some spice to it unlike most chain restaurants.
