When my family visits us, it is our habit to visit this restaurant on the first day of your holiday. excellent for crepes, galettes, salads etc. and tolerant of tired children. my son and his family love the French. they also sell coffee...in bonnet and floor form and many other tasty, chocolate, oil etc.
We were looking for a place to eat in baza on Monday in December. but I had forgotten that in France almost restaurant was closed on Monday ... except le cafe d’oc!!! the crepps were really good and the owners impressed me. of the quality of their service. presentation and ambiente were good, but not pretentious. it is also a great place to buy souvenirs (coffee, chocolate). next time we will come back when we stop from bazas!
We went to this restaurant when visiting the medieval town of Bazas, and decided we must return for another meal. The food (crepes is of course great to the palate, great value and made with fresh locally sourced produce. However what makes this place an...absolute don 't miss is its owners and the home feel they gave the place. Fermine (sorry for the spelling? and his wife are charming and will welcome you like family. They cleverly joined to their restaurant a beautiful little storefront selling a variety of local products and delicacies at reasonable price points. You might as well take the opportunity to purchase any gifts and treats while there as most other places do tend to sell with some tourist premium for same or lesser quality.
