The ambiance at this restaurant is lovely, offering stunning views. The food is heavenly, with the zucchini flowers being particularly beautiful and the prawn appetizer being both unique and delicious. The beef cheeks were very enjoyable, especially when paired with lentils.
Do not go to jasons restaurant, eating was easy ok service was just ok the manager was use. her art was repulsive and right rude. we spent a lot of money and was asked to go because she needed to get her adult children home to bed 9.30 go to mcdonald’s instead
We decided to have one final family dinner before moving out of state and made a reservation at Jason's Lunch for 12:30. Our party included 6 adults, 2 small children, and a baby. The restaurant was not very busy, so we were hopeful for good service. Let's start with the positives: my husband ordered the beef cheek and found it absolutely delicious, giving it a 10/10 rating. The roasted potatoes he ordered as a side were also excellent. The complimentary bread served before the meal was fresh, crusty, and delicious. The children enjoyed their meals of eye fillet with roast potatoes, which were tender and tasty. However, there were some disappointments as well. I ordered a margarita with a salted rim, but it came without salt and was the worst margarita I've ever had. My daughter's bolognese pasta dish was disappointing, with a thin sauce and tough meat pieces. Both my son and son-in-law ordered rib eye steaks cooked to different temperatures, but neither were cooked as requested. My daughter-in-law and I ordered scotch fillets which were also not cooked to our liking. The demiglaze sauce I ordered was unpleasant. Despite voicing our concerns to the waitress, we were not offered any replacements or solutions. We were not asked if we wanted dessert and felt rushed to leave by 1:50, even though the restaurant was open until 3. Overall, the experience fell short of our expectations, especially considering the restaurant's beautiful building, location, and prices. We will stick to Shanika's in Pakenham for our family dinners, where the food and service are always perfect.
My husband and I had a fantastic date night dinner at Jason's recently. We enjoyed a 3-course meal and everything we tried was delicious. For our appetizer, we had the soft shell crab crepe arancini balls. For our main course, we chose the lamb shanks and pork ribs. For dessert, we had the deconstructed Gaytime. The service was outstanding! Adrianna, our charming and warm hostess, made us feel truly welcomed. The ambiance was wonderful. We plan to return in the summer to enjoy the views!
