Every now and then I am reminded why I dislike chain restaurants. Today was one of those moments- thanks to Zoe's Kitchen. I ordered curbside and waited right outside for awhile. I called and the person said yea it's sitting right here... okay, so curbside means what? I then checked my meal and the order didn't look like what I requested. The steak was charred to a a pieces of coal and dry. The herb dry looking kabob is supposed to be their new Harrisa BBQ chicken. I went in to ask if that was supposed to be the new harissa chicken and the lady says, we can just give you a side of BBQ sauce. Chain stores should close. Mom& pop shops should be the only business to survive through the pandemic
I got to enjoy the Mediterranean chicken with baked falafel and quinoa salad as a side with the spicy hummus starter. The experience was good. The food was served quick and well. Some of my pita bread was stale. I would go back for a refreshing and healthy lunch choice.
Their phone service routes you in circles, you never get to speak to anyone at all. Wanted to place an order for a family and could not get through to a person. It tells you to press 4 to speak to someone, but when you do, you are immediately sent back to the beginning of the menu, same options, which are to press 4 or do nothing. If you do nothing, you are automatically hung up on. After you select 4 three times, you are also hung up on. Couldn't place an order online or through the app for this location either: it said this location wasn't participating in curbside, pickup, or online ordering. There was no way for me to place an order for our family from our house. What a way to do business.
A 11:17 am on August 23rd, My granddaughter and I walked in and a Girl yelled from the counter that they couldn't serve us cause they were too busy with online orders! She then told us to come back later! Food is normally good but NEVER going back there again! I usually eat they about 4-5 times a month. $24 x5)x12=$1440 a year... plus that's if I don't have family with me . No way to treat a customer!
