Tall Tree Tastings - Beatrice

I dropped by for a tasting on my way home and it was a delightful experience. The woman at the bar was incredibly friendly, and the selection of wines and beers was impressive. They offer a small variety of food options, including a meat and cheese basket, spinach dip, and prepackaged snacks like pretzels and Cheez-Its. If you enjoy dry red wines, I highly recommend trying the Iron Horse!

We had a delightful experience at this friendly and welcoming oasis during our visit for the 2020 Nebraska passport program. We were greeted with a warm introduction to their wine and beer selections, and my husband enjoyed a local brew while I savored a refreshing peach wine slushie. The two staff members who assisted us were incredibly helpful, recommending other places to explore in town, from a popcorn vendor to a bakery and thrift stores. Beatrice truly showcased the spirit of Nebraska Nice during our visit!

I might elevate this to four stars if my next visit is better. First off, this is a great spot to sample Nebraska wines, and they also have brewpub beers, which I really enjoy. I had no idea they offered beer; otherwise, I would have visited much sooner and more often. They don't serve food, and their hours are limited to Thursday through Saturday from 5 to 9 p.m. But the beer is excellent! The place itself is clean, stylish, and cool. However, my experience was slightly marred by a pretentious waitress, which brought my rating down to three stars. If she's not there during my next visit, I’ll likely increase my rating to four. Overall, it’s a nice place to grab a couple of drinks before dinner.

Nice and friendly staff. Clean and cool atmosphere. I love the aesthetics. They have a good selection of Nebraska Wine and beers. Prices are definitely reasonable and what you would expect. I hope to make it back soon.
