Bellus Fortis - Beaufort-en-Anjou

Enjoyed a tasty meal on a quiet Friday evening. Service needs to be a lot better. Very slow and we had big waits between courses and even to pay at the counter. The waitress was too busy doing dishes and they clearly need some extra help in the kitchen so she can attend to customers and make them feel welcome. Rather disappointed.

Good address! A reduced menu which is renewed daily with fresh, quality products and well-chosen wines. The dishes are simple and very well executed. (The dishes as much as the desserts) I ate one of the best slow-cooked cuts of beef in a very long time. My partner ordered scallops which were also perfectly cooked. We would have appreciated a little more originality and pep in the accompaniments. This is an address to recommend.

New restaurant recommended 100%: a beautiful discovery, a renovated place with taste, reception and service at the top, and the kitchen... A pleasure. From the entrance, to the dish, to the dessert, associations of eccentric flavors! short menu, homemade and with lots of heart! A perfect evening.

Super restaurant: Very fine foie gras, wonderfully cooked meat and accompaniment and exquisite dessert. The wines also succulent. A table came in his address book!
