The two hushpuppies appeared to have been fried at least twice. There was nothing terrible about the food, but nothing special, either. All served on paper plates with a plastic fork wrapped in plastic with a napkin. (No knife to cut the scallops). Waitress wasn't bad, but not particularly friendly, either.
Really good oysters, worst scallops my husband said he has ever had. Beautiful view and nice to have the dog, but don’t like the plastic utensils. Service was hit or miss. Don’t think we would go back.
The only thing good about this restaurant is the location and the view. Food w@s barely edible. I ordered a $10 garden salad. It was a big pile of salad vegetables— cucumbers, tomato chunks, huge pieces of carrots, over a bunch of lettuce. Gross! My husband had fried flounder which was ok. Plastic utensils, styrofoam glasses and then they ch@raged us 25 cents for the disgusting tap water in a styrofoam cup. The worst! I will never eat here again!
Unbelievably RUDE staff! We sat outside for a few drinks with our dogs. It wasn’t crowded at all…. My husband moved one umbrella to stick in a different umbrella hole to block the sun as I was getting the drinks at the bar…. We were reminded…Drinks only till 5!!! Then they started cussing, dropping the F bomb about moving the umbrella. Obviously they didn’t know I was with the ‘f-ing’ umbrella mover…. It was extremely rude and in front of other bar patrons. I calmly said, they’re with me and probably just moved it, blocking the sun… and sadly that one woman was the manager!!! Don’t go if you like good wine, as they only have boxed, crappy wine.
The restaurant has a pleasant water view.We can recommend their Banana Daiquiri, garden burger, and cheese burger. The service was attentive Enjoy
