Chez Henri - Beaugency

Four of us eat on Thursday in chez henri 2 at midday. the atmosphere is warm and cozy wth exposed wooden beams and a friendly feeling as they enter. as mentioned by others there was only one young man in the kitchen and. I suppose his wife served. there was about a dozen diners. the menu is extensive with everything from salads to burgers. we had the 20€ specialties that were very good. selection of meat, fish or chicken main dish with choice of appetizers and desserts. served with kartoffels and mixed vegetables. the food was good and beautifully presented. large selection of drinks. street parking can be difficult, but there are parking places recommended to walk.

We warmheartedly recommend the place and will definitelylly come back! we organized a meeting at chez henri on the eve of our high time ~100 people.) the atmosphere was the worth trip the price was very fair. the food quality was very good. the service was perfect. it went on: we had a misunderstanding about some of the drinks and the chef freddy) was extremely constructiv the chef had a lot of super nice attention and even gifts, for us and for our gests all night.

The taste, the quality and the size of henri ́s 26 € Menu dishes vary a lot. overall it is a homerun. the thunfish carpaccio was quite soulless and light. the duck and wetar mains were delicious, well prepared and just right. the cheese plate was overwhelming in the amount and good in quality. the young workers were very efficient, almost exaggerated.

This restaurant is cozy and the tables are not too close to each other. The menu is limited to hamburgers and meat dishes with a few seafood dishes. The service is ok but not really great but you feel welcome. The wine menu is very...limited to a few local and some French wines (low priced). The food is ok.

Had a really good meal here and would have enjoyed the atmosphere of the place (old beams and stones) a lot more if the background music hadn't been so loud and so bad. The constant (I guess) r n b music banging away ruined the...place for me. I would go back because the food was very good, but I'd check the music before deciding to stay!
